The Style Hound is an independently operated menswear site. It is owned and run by Derrick, a software engineer who writes about and shops heritage clothing, denim, knitwear, and outerwear.

What we publish

The public feed is built around Prime Threads Curation: a smaller set of higher-value men's pieces (coats, selvedge denim, knitwear, dress shirts) for a middle-to-upper-middle-class closet, rather than a full dump of every discounted SKU. Women's inventory is out of scope for this MVP. Category tabs like Tees, Basics, and Socks exist for browsing, but they are not the editorial front door. Original writing lives in the Journal as a monthly issue (seasonal activities plus a Prime Threads edit). Older months stay in the archive.
